Douglas W. Gablinske

Douglas W. Gablinske, a 1975 graduate of Providence College, has been appraising residential properties in Rhode Island since 1994. He has appraised properties in all 39 cities and towns in Rhode Island. Before his career in appraising, Gablinske owned and operated Douglas Properties, a company that built and sold over 30 single-family homes and rehabilitated multifamily properties in the East Bay area. In 1995, Gablinske founded East Bay Appraisal, a firm specializing in the Bristol and Newport County areas. The company, now known as AppraiseRI, has completed more than 40,000 appraisal assignments since 1997 across all of Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA. Gablinske was also an approved 203k consultant and is an approved FHA appraiser. He is currently Chairman of the Warren Taxpayer Appeal Board and provides consult to the RI Depat of Housing. He is a rabid PC basketball fan and lifelong season ticket holder. He enjoys powerboating in his spare time on Narragansett Bay.
Scott T. Nagy

Scott T. Nagy has 34 years of experience appraising residential properties in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He began appraising in 1990 for Nyberg Associates under the guidance of Leonard J. Nyberg. He worked for several appraisal firms in Rhode Island and eventually became Senior Staff Appraiser for East Bay Appraisal. In 2002, he became a partner at AppraiseRI and, as Vice President, he manages appraiser training, office technology, and appraisal management systems for the company. Scott's expertise includes in-depth knowledge of all 39 cities and towns and their neighborhoods in Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA. He is well versed in appraising multi-family, FHA, and foreclosure appraisals, as well as high end properties. His decades long appraisal career in all aspects of residential appraising serves the company clients well as he is the day to day contact person interfacing with all aspects of client relationships. Scott is an early riser and can be found at the gym at 5am, before taking on the rigors of the day.
